Statement: "An honest man is always a child." Socrates Being honest with yourself is part of healing the cracks. A child is free to believe in the impossible because he has not yet been told that it is ridiculous. "Childlike" formed part of my 2nd solo exhibition, Fracture, 9-22 July '14, in Statuto13 Gallery, Milan, Italy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_C7iTItZBk&t=19s https://www.facebook.com/events/1663303650606656?ref=newsfeed
Statement: Occasionally we may spring an emotional leak. This is okay when it happens in private, but becomes complicated when in public. Feelings of shame, weakness, ridicule and criticism might accompany these moments, but it is important to understand that the expression is not a sign of weakness or failure, but a sign of emotional health. Our culture, and consequently we, place a lot of pressure on ourselves to appear strong and confident when in-fact what makes us beautifully human is our moments of sensitivity.
Statement: "And the disciple sits by the side of the Master slowly slowly partaking of his joy, of his being, eating and drinking out of that eternal, inexhaustible source. And one day... and one cannot predict when that day will come, it is unpredictable. One day suddenly it has happened: a process has started in you which reveals the truth of your being to you. You come face to face with yourself." Excerpt from, The Man Who Loved Seagulls, by Osho.
